International Yoga Day

A grand International Yoga Day celebration was successfully organised by the Durga Saptashati Foundation at Sri Venkateshwar International School on 21st June moening drawing an overwhelming response from yoga enthusiasts across Dwarka and other parts of the city. The event aimed at promoting the ideals of a healthy body, peaceful mind, and balanced soul while showcasing India's rich cultural traditions through yoga.
Nearly 600 participants gathered at the venue and performed yoga in unison, reflecting the spirit of Fit India Movement, the nationwide wellness initiative championed by Narendra Modi. The yoga sessi session was conducted under the guidance of renowned Yoga Guru Manmohan Gupta, with active participation from social organisations and school children.
The celebration beautifully blended Indian culture with wellness traditions through Ganesh Vandana, rhythmic yoga performances by students, Hanuman Chalisa recitation, mass yoga sessions, and meditation practices, creating a vibrant and spiritually uplifting atmosphere. lively and engaging Ayouth Veda Quiz was also organised. Hosted by energetic emcee Nishant Prakash, the quiz uz featured featured 10 entertaining questions with four options each, focused on Ayouth Veda's skincare, healthcare, face care and beauty care products. With his vibrant anchoring style, Nishant e, Nishant Prakash kept the crowd cheerful and fully engaged, making participants laugh, dance and enthusiastically take part in the activity. Winners were invited on stage and awarded special Ayouts Veda gift hampers, which came as a pleasant surprise for the audience. The interactive session widely appreciated by the crowd, and organizers announced that many more such engaging quizzes by Ayouth Veda will be conducted in the future.
Speaking on the occasion, Sandhya Singh, Founder, Durga Saptashati Foundation said, "This celebration was not just about performing yoga, it was about reconnecting with India's timeless wisdom of health, discipline, and inner harmony. Seeing hundreds of people come together with such energy and devotion reaffirmed our belief that collective wellness can build a stronger and healthier society. Founder Sandhya Singh thanked all contributors, especially Dr. Nagender Solanki, whose guidance I support played a vital role in the event's success, along with Nishu Pandey and the school team including Harish Kumar and Poonam Saini.
