Ganesh Mahotsav 2022

A Few Glimpses Of Our Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations In Dwarka:

Ganesh Chaturthi is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Ganesha, or Lord Ganesha. The festival falls on the fourth day of the bright fortnight in the Hindu month of Bhadra. It is celebrated for 10 days.

The festival is observed by worshipping Lord Ganesha. He is worshipped with offerings of modaks and other sweets considered to be his favourite foods.

Ganesh Mahotsav is celebrated for seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings for prosperity, wisdom, happiness, and success. Each year, Saptashati Foundation celebrates Ganesh Mahotsav by making a ‘pandal with Ganesha Idol’, performing Havan for peace and prosperity, and distributing food amongst homeless people in Dwarka.
